Woke up this morning, showered, dressed, went into the living room put on my tefillin (phylacteries) and davened (prayed.)

I haven't done that in far too long, to be honest. Not sure why, either, but it was good.

Not to mention that Kosher tefillin are rather emphatically not cheap. My first pair was a multi-generational hand-me-down, and the second was a graduation present.

(Gee, kind of like Ron's wands in the HP books, but I digress)

If you'd like to borrow mine sometime, let me know and I could drop by one morning.

I've never leined tfilin. And I own a pair. It was my great-granduncle's set. It was left to my granfather, who gave it to me. And I've never used 'em. I'd like to learn how.

Online "how-to" sites that I've seen aren't very good, your best bet could be to find someone who knows how, and have them show you.
