Inventory-

-Around 1/2 a liter left in the Brita from the last time it was filled.
-Around 1 gallon of water left in the hot water heater from before Shabbos.
-2.5 gallons that dad brought by from his trip to Amherst (thanks, Abba!)
-1 gallon by way of the M family, dropped off by [livejournal.com profile] joules314 (thanks to all of them as well!)
-Around a gallon's worth of 16 oz bottles left from a flat of water we've had sitting around.

Now, I also bought bleach, but I'm a little unsure about how to go about washing my dishes.

it's 1 teaspoon bleach per gallon of water. You ought to buy paper plates & plastic cutlery to cut down on what needs to be actually washed, but this website recommends that you can wash normally, but you must soak the dishes for 5 minutes in bleach-water and allow to air-dry.

Correct. There is info on the mwra.com web site, if you need it.

Everything is still all hunky-dory in the people's republic of cambridge. I crossed the border and expected to be jumped by hordes of people clawing for my water bottle but I managed to fend them off. #aquapocalypse

The pipe is now fixed but they won't clear the water (so to speak) until they've run another successful water test.
