This evening, Aliza and I filed our taxes and filled out our census form. That's enough time dedicated to the federal government for one evening, don't you think? :-)

One of my co-workers got summoned to serve on a federal grand jury last month. She was out for 2-3 days, but lucked out and wasn't empaneled.
