Everyone's the hero in their own story...

A former high school classmate of mine has been uploading photos from our Maimo days onto facebook. It's been a fun look back, and I've really enjoyed them so far.
One photo in particular caught my attention. It's a shot of three or four of my classmates at the post-graduation reception in the school's auditorium. While I don't actually appear in the picture, my parents are clearly viewable in the background, going about their business in a vaguely parental fashion.
I don't often give the people who are in the background of my photos too much thought. Now I find myself wondering about the photos where I'm in the background...
