aribDad brought me over to my folks' place after the extractions, and I'm posting from there.
I'm a little puffy, but not in much pain (say 1.5/10) but most of my face is still numb.
Dad's got a conference call in a few minutes, after which we'll be going to CVS to fill my scrips (percosets and a rinse), and I'll go home. Right now, I've got some motrin in me.
It's hard to eat when you can't taste much.
The IV sedation went well. I remember them hooking me up to an EKG and pulse-ox, starting the IV, and novocaining me, before shoving a wedge in my mouth to keep it open. After that, the narrative in my brain picked up towards the end of them removing the last tooth, and stitching the gum up.
