What's Ari been up to lately? Part 1 of 2-ish.

In more-or-less reverse order, since I'll be able to remember the more recent stuff first:

Tonight, reporteraliza and I saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." It's incredibly sweet, but prone to make you cry if you're the cry-at-movies type. The last ten minutes *really* affected me, for reasons that would spoil it.

This afternoon, reporteraliza, reporteraliza's brother (who was visiting us this past week) and I went ice skating with reporteraliza's aunt, uncle and three young cousins. To be precise: they skated, I watched and took pictures while wrangling the two year-old cousin. I'd probably enjoy skating if they invented ice skates I could wear on my butt. reporteraliza's brother was taken to the airport for his return flight, and we got a text this evening letting us know he got home safe.

New Year's eve was a two party night. The first was an early evening homemade pizza party with reporteraliza's uncle and aunt and crew in Newton, followed by a later party at S&J's involving many different varieties of chocolate. Tasty parties, all around.
