I know regeneration is a big part of the Who canon, but I really like Tennant.

No news on who the new Doc will be, I'm curious as to who they'll tap.

I was gonna say, I really liked Tennant, but I liked Eccleston more. Thus far, they've been doing a good enough job of casting. I'm willing to trust them not to screw it up.
