Did anyone else miss...

I completely missed that Sunday was the 39th anniversary of the first moon landing. Admittedly, I was fasting and dealing with air travel, but still...

I wanted to mention to someone that maybe the fast should be suspended in recognition of the simcha of the 39th anniversary of Joe Namath's return to professional football, but I never got the opportunity. It is surprising to me how limited the audience for that joke is. :<(

If you haven't seen it, now would be an excellent time to buy and watch (over and over again) an amazing film called In the Shadow of the Moon. It's rare footage interspersed with interviews with all of the Apollo astronauts that would consent to be interviewed on camera.

I saw it at the Coolidge when they screened it, it was *gorgeous* in big screen.

I was absolutely certain that some of the footage was CGI/model shots until the credits revealed that it was archival footage. I was floored.

Yes, Ben and I saw it at the Kabuki Theater here (big screen) and I was speechless. I cried a little at some parts.
