Sick today- Bad sore throat and such. According to the doctor, it isn't strep, but I've felt awful, so I stayed home today. I should be better enough by tomorrow.

Aliza's going to Toronto this weekend for her father's 50th birthday, so I'll be all by my lonesome while she's gone. My Shabbat plans are currently uncertain.

Keep in mind this is nothing fancy. We're not planning an appetizer course, at least not at this juncture. It's just mac & cheese and fruit or brownies for dessert.

Have some hot tea, and grab some Chloraseptic spray. Stuff tastes like cherry vomit, but it will help your throat.

And tea is just yummy!

Hey, just fyi there IS a nasty strep that's going around (at least the Brighton/Brookline/Newton pediatric community) and is not showing up on the rapid strep test, only on cultures. Dunno what your doctor stuck down your throat, but if it doesn't get better soon, you might want to recheck the strep angle.
