2008 has been fairly uneventful so far. The alien overlords transphased in from dimension 11, though. THings were a little dicey until we worked out a method of communication. It turns out that they just wanted some smog to use as propulsion for their ship. In trade, it's flying cars and houses on the moon and asteroid belt for everyone!

Also, the Galactic Union called, they want to send peacekeeping troops in to clean up the mess. This could get interesting...

Yeah, on my way home from the party, I found that the air was a bit cleaner and the skyline was a lot more visible than usual.

We had a time traveler drop in and tell us that he was chasing 2007. He had about 5 minutes before he had to get back up to the necessary speeds. The mass dampener he was holding was really cool.

The Vortex
