As of November 23, 2007, Skittles from the UK are no longer Kosher.

This will be a very dark Hannukah, indeed.

("Dark Hanukkah" sounds like some sort of weird anthology of gothic Jewish horror or something. Enjoy.)

How did that happen? I thought pretty much everything in the UK that possibly could was going vegitarian. I'd think that that would, for candies, tend to lead to kashrut.

Good question, I'm not sure.

I still have most of a half-kilo tub of kosher Brit-Skittles at home. I guess I'll have to make sure they last.
