Based on signs posted on their front door, the kosher Dunkin' Donuts in Washington Square has permanently closed shop.

That was reported yesterday on Kosher Blog. JA said they were giving no reason for it.

They aren't even going non-kosher? That makes me suspect a lease problem.

I suggest as many people call in and complain as possible. Call (617)464-3796 and hit 0 to speak to an operator. Say you want to complain about the store at 1671 Beacon St. closing. Make sure to mention that it's the only kosher one in New England and now you have no where else to go. I figure if enough people call in the franchiser might decide to make another one of his stores go kosher if it was indeed just a lease issue.
