I'd much rather go to an Apple store, ask whether the iPhones work with my T-Mobile plan, and leave when I'm told they don't. Enough of that sort of complaint might actually filter up to the people who foolishly decided an exclusive contract with AT&T was the way to go.
That'd work too, probably better than my idea. :-) I've been an AT&Tingular customer for around four years now though, having had previous awful experiences with Sprint (now Nextel).
I still don't get the hype. It could just be that I'm happy with a pathetic Motorola L2. Well, happy exept for that it doesn't fill in words with a single tap of a key, like my old Nokia did.
Sadly, I'm sure there are some people who would do this and not in jest. I may upgrade my Verizon phone soon, but to nothing really outragous. Cell phones should be cells phones, ipod/pda's should be ipod/pda's.
And never the twain shall meet.
Well except if the pda supported wifi and voip...that'd be ok. :)
