EMI has announced that they'll start selling their catalog on itunes without any DRM.
It's not perfect, but it's a nice start.

Yea but they're also charging an extra 30 cents for those songs those bastards! I hate steve jobs so much...

Yeah, but the non-DRMed versions are a higher sound quality.
Is it worth the extra thirty cents? Dunno.
