In the opening pages of Stephen King's Cell, the lead character is walking down Berkeley Street, towards Copley Square in downtown Boston.

When I read the opening pages of Stephen King's Cell, I was walking down Berkeley Street, towards Copley Square in downtown Boston.

Try reading A Scientific Romance by Ronald Wright, when the hero stumbles across the flooded near-future ruins of London's Docklands, as your train passes through that very place. Everyone looked at me really oddly when I suddenly burst into tears.
