I had a scented candle melt spallters all over my floor. What's the best/easiest way to get up the spatters off of a hardwood floor??

I'd scrape as much off as possible, maybe try scrubbing gently with the grit side of a sponge if there's leftover. I suppose if that really doesn't work, you could try the gentle heat and paper towels approach very carefully (although I would feel very funny ironing the floor, but it might be fun in some strange way)- I don't know how much heat it takes to damage floor boards. But well, there's my 2 cents, however unexperienced.

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are awesome! I had spatters on a wall and it scrubbed them right off.

butterknife should lift off most of it cleanly.
dissolve the rest with kerosene.

very hot water usually works to loosen it then you can pick it up with a paper towel
