On the Mac/PC divide...

One selling point that they use is that there aren't very many viruses out there that attack Macs, while there are thousands that attack PCs.
Thing is, people don't write Mac viruses only because fewer people own Macs, not necessarily because of some magical software posessed by the Macintosh.
So, if lots of people buy Macs, more viruses will be written for Macs. It's a vicious cycle!

It's true that they are less popular. But it is also endlessly harder to write viruses for them.
(Sooner look to your cell phones to get viruses...)
