My ipod's battery? Crapped out.

I'm gonna try my hand at installing a replacement battery once it arrives. Tempting as buying another ipod is, I think it's a bit overkill.

If you toss your old iPod, can I have it to take apart?

In order to change the battery, I'll need to take it apart, anyway.

I've replaced a battery in a 3G (the one with the row of "buttons"). It's not too tough.

Which rev is yours?

4G "clickwheel."

I'm told it's not tough at all, but I'm not the most technically inclined person out there.

It's easy. you pop it apart then put it together.
the batteries generally come with instructions and plastic pry thingies.

I've seen diagrams, it seems easy enough. I'll let folks know how it goes. :-)
