Yeah, that is quite a teaser! Too bad the first quarter of the trailer is credit for DC comics, WB, etc. Movies are more and more taken over by the sponsors' and creators' ads, lately.

Admittedly, the Marlon-Brando-as-Jor-El "because they have such potential for good, I have sent them you, my only son" thing is a little Jesus-heavy, but it's still cool that they're using him as the character.

Last Son of Krypton and Miracle Monday, both by Elliot S Maggin, take the 'Superman as Jesus' thing about as far as it will go. Great books, especially the first one.
