Does anyone here that's local to me feel able comfortable enough changing/moving buttons on a leather jacket?

I could do so, depending on the type of button.

they're... buttons. Not the shirt-button kind with the holes all the way through, the toggle-ish kind where the button's a solid piece and there's a loop on the back.

Make sense?

So they're shank buttons, yes? Not like the ones you sometimes see with bluejeans, the ones that are two metal pieces that fit together through a hole in the fabric, but ones that have a shank through which one can put a threaded needle.

If so, I can do it, no problem. You'll just have to tell me where you want the buttons moved to. Or we can measure it out.

That anony-comment was me. That's pretty much the button type.

I'd sew them on with dental floss, then the thread won't break off.
My mom did that to us when we were kidsd.
