I had to go and register for classes, where they expected me to pay them with money that I don't have, and it took all manner of cajoling and arguing until they were willing to wait the few weeks until I have the money to give them.

I'm not sure I want to be a social worker anymore. Being a social worker would entail helping people. I don't want to help people, I want to beat people in the face with a brick until they help me. Of course, engaging in the first part of that plan probably negates the second part.

oof, you have my heartfelt sympathies.

i’m currently contending with Bunker Hill - the class for which i had already registered has been cancelled due to insufficient registration, and by the time they got around to telling me this, the other classes i might have taken instead all filled up. so i’m trying to get the Dean to let me get into a class that’s already full.
