So, I've been invited to audition for something that might prove to be fun. Can anyone suggest a suitable monologue?

More details when/if they occur.

I will recommend a few:

-El Gallo's "There is a curious paradox" from "The Fantasticks" (which is also nicely short)
-Ma Abner's "I has spoken!" from "Lil' Abner" (if you want to be cute and use a womna's monologoue -- why not?)
-Francisco d'Anconia's "So you think money is the root of all evil?" from Atlas Shrugged (more of a serious piece)
-Henry Drummond's "The individual human mind" from "Inherit the Wind" (nice for a good dramatic flare)

Huzzah!
