Boston folks- clothing question...

Anyone know a place in town where I might be able to get a relatively cheap leather jacket?

Have you looked, or considered, consignment shops? That is often a good bet. Also, since July 4 is coming and leather coats are a bit out of season, check the sales at some of the major department stores. It might not work, but it might. Also, for el-cheapo, I always recommend Building 19.

I was considering hitting the Garment District on Sunday.

Good choice. Also call around to Goodwill and Salvation Army.

Also, if you don't find anything there... (being summer) - check out Wilson's Leather. A few years back I bought a leather bomber in July for $99. Good luck!

Also, places like BJ's and Costco sometimes have them.

Costco leather is of poor quality, though, and (ironically enough) overpriced for what it is. Wilson's is on its way out of business--the one at the Square 1 Mall has some great deals left, so that's where I'd recommend going. Yay, leather jackets!

I'm nowhere near the square 1 mall.

Pity.
