I just used duct tape...

...to actually repair a duct!

Yeah, [livejournal.com profile] kelkyag used duct tape to repair the duct to our dryer. She was quite pleased that she had used it for it's advertised purpose.

Ari, I'm afraid you might have upset the balance of time and space in a manner from which we cannot recover. Duct tape to fix a duct... that's just... wrong somehow. ;-)

Actually, if I recall, tests have shown that Duct Tape is not the best material for reparing ducts. I think the test used several different tapes for reparing ducts and duct tape came out last. Unfortuately, I don't recall what they recommended using.
