Date: 2004-09-14 09:58 am (UTC)Interestingly, I went and read some of the site- and the tfillin article is non-gender specific/egalitarian if one is reading it without cultural assumptions, while the one on tallit is not. I rather wonder about who's writing these, considering that even in the egalitarian commuity tfillin seem to be culturally regarded as much more a male thing than tallit.
