It never ends...
Apr. 12th, 2002 07:47 amSo, I finally did it.
I finally nerved up the courage to say hello to a woman I've seen on the bus pretty much every morning. (She's around my age, and is the only person on the bus who isn't either a high school student on their way to class, or my boss...)
So, we started talking, and found out we both work in mental health, which is good. Then I find out...
She knows my brother...
They used to work at the same program.
He's just everywhere isn't he?
He's my little brother, why do I always feel like I'm in his shadow? (Other than that he's five inches taller than me, and on sunny days, I am standing in his shadow...)
Still I think I made a new friend this morning, which is always nice.

Date: 2002-04-12 06:24 am (UTC)Well, I don't think he's everywhere. I certainly didn't know him before you.
OTOH, he's not such a bad guy. After all, he's got good blood. ;)
People do take you on your own terms, Ari, as a general rule. *hugs* Try not to let your brother's ever-widening one-degree reach bug you too much.
