As a teenager, I never had many problems with my complexion. Acne and the like were very rare, so I never had to deal with them. On the other hand, whenever an important or stressful event was in the offing (exams, Shabbatons, dates), I'd break out.

So good to see that some things never change. *grumble*

So, anyone know how to get rid of a medium-sized forehead zit?

Joke from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. If you haven't seen it, it's not funny. :)

Haven't seen it.

I feel like my brother's wedding should be called "Meine Groisse Yiddeshe Chasseneh" (Yiddish for "My Large Jewish Wedding"), but it's not the same.

odem yesode meofe vsofe leofe.....mveyno lveyno iz gut a trink bronfn.

just some general advice.

aand, as far as the zit goes. depends on what kind of skin you have too, but try toothpaste overnight, try a heat compress to bring it to a head, try drying it out with astringent, and when you pop it, keep it clean and dry and put neosporin on it (heals 4 days faster!!).

For real? Hmmm...I may have to try that. But...is it all toothpaste or only, like, Colgate?

depends on the zit. Tom's of Maine works, but the Cinnamint flavor is really painful.

I've tried that. While it leaves me with a minty fresh forehead, it doesn't work too well for me. To be fair, I've only done it the once.

I personally advise popping it. Just make sure your hands are clean when you do so, and clean it afterwards with astringent or cleanser and water. Barring that, get some zit cream and touch it as little as possible.

Toothpaste has worked for me, once I learned that it has to be generic paste toothpaste and not gel or baking soda or any of that. Got any free samples of Crest?

Clean & Clear make these little zit-remover dots that you stick on your face overnight, and they actually usually work. They shrink them if nothing else. Unfortunately, I'm out at the moment.

(Does toothpaste have to be kashered?)
