So, as I've mentioned countless times before, my brother's getting married at the end of the month.

Why do so many people think that I have to be horribly depressed, blinded with rage and/or killingly jealous as a result?

The only negative feeling that exists as a result of the pending wedding is the fear I have of my next credit card statement. Wedding gifts and suits aren't cheap. :-)

Hell, I don't know. Do these people see you moping around about not being married? I sure don't.

What really gets me is the elderly relatives who physically poke at me and say "you're next!"

Dad suggests that the next time two or more relatives do that to me, I smack one of them, point at the other and say, "no, you're next!"
