Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

If you'd like, I'll return the favor as a reply.

I'll never forget the first time we flew to Oregon together. Eleri met us at the airport and we three flew down to my hometown. I got to show the two of you Disneyland and the other amusement parks here, and downtown Riverside, and we all went to the little Italian bistro near my old home in Huntington, but the best part was walking on the beach, the three of us holding hands, Eleri between you and me.

Remember the sun setting in the Pacific and the gulls crying overhead? And you got sand in your shoes and didn't mind it at all. And Eleri found those three perfect conch shells in the surf and said we each should keep one, for the memories.

I miss those days.

I remember when you called me up and said you were in Israel, and we had to go hang out. So we went to Tel Aviv, and spent all day on the beach, and both of our necks got reallly sunburnt because we thought we'd be smart and not face the sun between 12 and 2, so all day we kept calling ourselves rednecks and being weird. But we did get a nice tan, so it was cool. And you almost got stung by a jellyfish, and that was scary. You screamed like a girl!! Haha at you! And later we had that HUGE dinner at Yotvata and you kept freaking out because the food was so good, and then we went over to the bar next door for a drink, and that bomber was there, and he was screaming about jihad and al-quaida and stuff. god that was scary. and then you just picked up that folding chair and knocked the guy flat!! And everyone cheered. That was so great. And everyone kept crying and hugging you and we got free drinks the rest of the night, and they took your picture to put on the wall. It's still there you know.

That was a really awesome day.

Let's be honest, if you hadn't distracted him by talking to him in Arabic, I never would've been able to sneak up behind him with that chair.

and next time, I'll bring sunscreen.
