There are some types of alcohol I love the taste of, and I don't mind getting tipsy with friends sometimes, but I don't get regular getting drunk, and I don't get drinking cheap shit just for the sake of getting drunk, and I don't get not being able to have fun without alcohol.

Ditto, though for me tipsiness isn't ever a goal but is sometimes a permitted outcome (in the right context for the right drink). I don't get the bar thing or the drunk thing.
