i wonder about that expression sometimes. did people count the census in the old days by throwing a rock and seeing how many people they hit, and out of those people how many of them were this that and the other? I wonder...
It would be amusing, cuz hey, people being hit with rocks. It's almost as much fun as a suicide bomber.
