At the bottom of the Update Journal page, if you're looking at the full version, it has the pulldown list for standard moods and the text entry box next to it for "Other".
If you pick a mood icon word from the pulldown list and enter text in the box, it shows the icon you picked with the text you entered (instead of the text that usually corresponds to that icon).
Argh! How did I be on LiveJournal since 2001 and not know this? n00b!
