Now, I know that tall, dark and broody was trying to make some gloomy statement, but I felt like shaking him by the shoulders and shouting, "depression's also the result of a similar chemical reaction! Eat some chocolate, pet a kitten, walk in the sunshine and enjoy yourself, dammit!"
