aribI just found out that Sharon Steiff, my old english teacher from high school passed away last night after a prolonged battle with leukemia.
I was going to call home to get information about the funeral when I was called almost simultaneously by my dad and my friend Avi.
Mikey Butler died last night. Mikey was a friend of mine from college who was dealing with cystic fibrosis and lymphoma. I'm trying to figure out if I can get to Pittsburgh for the funeral tomorrow, but I don't think it's likely.
Just... bleah.

Date: 2004-01-26 02:16 pm (UTC)Boston to Pittsburgh by tomorrow does seem a challenge. That's about an 11-hour drive before factoring in current weather. If you decide to try it, be safe.
