Holy crap.

Hoooooly crap.

So, they've been mentioning the pending chopper crash for weeks, and hinting that "someone will die." At first, they made it seem like Donal Logue's character, who I like, but wouldn't miss, since he's a bit part.

Then Romano doesn't quite make it to the helipad, freaks out due to PTSD, and goes down to the ground floor and out into the bay for a breather.

Knowing of the imminent crash, my mom (who hates Romano, as the actor plays the "obnoxious doctor" role far too well), says: "Wouldn't it be ironic if the helicopter fell on him?"

My reply, rather tongue-in-cheek was: "No, it'd be poetic, the helicopter came back to finish the job it started."

Of course, we *knew* they wouldn't do something like that. I mean, it'd be tacky, or something.

And. Then. They. Did.

aaaargh!

Sure, the character was a vain, racist, bigoted, arrogant, obnoxious prick, but the actor did an amazing job of portraying that, and I looked forward at having someone to sneer at while I watched the show.

Feh.

auuuugh!

Was good. Verrry good.

Lots of stuff gettin' blowed up good.

Luka transported a patient with pneumonia to the ICU, and used a locked restraint to handcuff him to the wall so they wouldn't bring the guy back to the ER.

Then the helicopter fell off the roof, and a bit of rotor blade flew through the ICU and caused a fire, injuring people and such.

Luka: Mr. Johnson, you're very lucky, your burns are all very slight.

Mr. Johnson: I liked it better downstairs. Down there I just had pneumonia.
