Yesterday's lunch...

went well. Unfortunately, most mof my shul-friends were out of town (Lisa B and Zamir were visiting one set of parents or the other, Lisa Z was in RI, and Kim was who knows where), so I didn't get to play the "Worlds Collide" game and introduce them to bluepapercup (who made a fantastic couscous dish), mabfan, and gnomi (who brought marinated green beans and curried sweet potatoes, both of which were incredibly good). But they got to meet Josh, whose fiancee, we learned, comes from a geeky family.

Made plans with bluepapercup for Tuesday, which we'll both have of from work/school, will be fun.

and now, I must tidy the living room.

I was going to "Pff!" at you, but then I remembered that you were asking me about plans Thursday, not Tuesday. Which I also have off (Tuesday, that is).

Lunch was much fun, and thank you again for having us. It was nice to get opportunities to talk to folk without having to, for instance, worry about missing my bus stop mid-conversation.
