You can't take me anywhere...

*Ari and his dad pass a sign at the airport security checkpoint. The sign features pictures of scissors, a pocketknife, a screwdriver, a cartoonesque bomb, and a pistol, all with slashes through them.

Me: Does this mean I can't bring my scissors, pocketknife or ordinance along with me?

Dad: Ari, don't make me hurt you...

Me: Oh, come on, security won't even notice me unless I start singing "Who put the bomb in the bomb shoo bomb shoo bomb."

Dad: (glaring) Ari, you sang that the last time we went to Chicago...

Me: I know, I know, I should really be aiming for a higher caliber of humor...

(In other news, I'm typing this by the gate to my plane, and I just realized that my bandage scissors made it through security in my carry-on...)

Back from the wedding...

It went very, very well.

Despite horrendous weather, the officialting Rabbi not being able to show up (backup rabbi. In case of emergency, break glass...), and the theft of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry from the bridesmaids' room, of course.

(and yesm that last bit realllly sucked.)
