I would actually welcome the chance to sit on a jury. I've been seated twice, but once as an alternate and once on a case that got settled during lunch (after jury selection, before trial).
The first trial was a criminal case and the behavior of the people actually on the jury scared the heck out of me. I was disappointed that no one got sick so I lost the opportunity to try to beat some sense into them during delibrations. (You're not supposed to talk about the case until deliberations officially start, but of course they did.)

Just bring along a good book you've been meaning to read.
