Why does my credit card keep sending me a bill informing me that I don't owe them anything?

Send them a check for $0.00.

Just sayin'. . .

They are not required to send a bill every month, but usually they send a $0 for the month or two after they received a payment from you. If you're really curious, you can call the credit card compnay and find out why the computer is spitting out the bills.

I once had some money in a mutual fund and decided to transfer it elsewhere, but for some reason they couldn't grok "move the balance here and close this out", so I had to name a number for the transfer. Of course, some time elapsed between the order and the implementation, so I kept getting statements about my 15-cent balance. Eventually I decided to try once more to make it stop, and I figured "how much change can a 15-cent balance see in a day or two?", so I transferred it again. Now I am getting statements for my 3-cent balance, and I've decided it's easier to put up with them than try a third time. But my mind boggles at the waste of money involved in sending me those statements.

So they can send you a load of advertising that you don't want to read too?
