"For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (King James version, from memory, hope I got it right!)
It's probably the most famous phrase from the Christian Bible. You can find it translated into almost every language of the world, including Hebrew, in the front of any Gideon Bible in a hotel.
Well, when you apply a tourniquet to someone, you're supposed to qrite the letters TK (for tourniquet) and the time you applied it on the person's forhead. After running through some scenarios, the instructor said something along the lines of "Okay, you've tied the tourniquet, written John 3:16 on the person's head, now what?"
I think he was implying that the patient was in really bad shape, and needed a miracle.
