(During our childbirth lecture.)

Student: "Can we encourage the mother to pull up her legs to delay labor?"

Teacher: "Pulling up your legs doesn't delay labor, it facilitates conception."

Second reacton: AUUGHHH! Here, let me pull up all the documentation of brain injury to infants who's moms had their legs held together so they wouldn't be born until the doctor arrived.
