-Shavuot was lots of fun. Potlucks were held, dessert was eaten for lunch, there was cheesecake and blintzes.

-RAB's Canadian citizenship certificate arrived. It's probably tied with her passport for cutest diplomatic document photo ever.

-I've just finished reading Daniel Wilson's Robopocalypse. While extremely entertaining, it felt a bit like World War Z with robots and rampant AI.

-I'm considering upgrading my macbook to OSX 10.7 when it's released this summer. I'll need to get some more RAM first, and it looks like my laptop will still be at the bottom of the upgrade curve.

Proof of Canadian parentage, 75 bucks and a trip to the consulate downtown.

Hm. I've been meaning to look into that (my father's Canadian, though he's been here for quite a while). Finding time to go downtown would be tricky, though.

Also, dual citizenship laws may have been different when you were born. Until relatively recently, you could only keep US/Canadian dual citizenship until you were 18, and then you were required to pick one and give up the other.
