Mom just ordered me:

A top-of-the-line stethoscope

A belt clip for the aforementioned stethoscope

A "large bandage scissor."

At times, she seems more excited about the EMT thing than I do.

ok. on the one hand, i'm mega-jealous of you, but on the other hand, i enjoy living vicariously. so, in conclusion, please keep posting EMT-related updates. :)

As one EMT to another... don't use the belt clip. The teasing will be merciless... ;-) Really good EMTs don't need to show how enthusiastic they are... ;-)
