Sent my resume out to a couple of places, and did some poking around.
Northeastern has a non-Saturday EMT course that will run from June 9-Aug. 26 that I could take in the mornings if I don't find a job, and the evenings if I do.
So, theoretically, I could get a summer job while I take EMT courses, then get an EMT job in the fall.
hakmadare, since you asked, the info's at http://www.ems.neu.edu/emt.html
This, combined with the way other things have been going lately, cheers me greatly.
Now I'm off to send out more resumes, drop off my cleaning, and watch Dogma. Snoogans.

Date: 2003-05-13 09:48 am (UTC)For EMT training at Northeastern University, you have two choices: a 12-week basic program comprised of nine hours of class per week for 12 weeks (three classes per week), plus 4 all-day Saturday exercises (indoor and outdoor) that include practical demonstrations of ambulance operation, vehicle extrication and other emergency care skills.
don't mean to rain on your parade, but i wanted to be sure you had seen that.
good luck,
steve
