Last week, I asked my rabbi what I could or couldn't do for my clients vis a vis cooking non-kosher food. He told me that I could do almost everything cooking-wise except for any dish that mixes meat and dairy, as the prohibition isn't just against eating those sorts of dishes, but preparing them as well.
Since then I've had to make a ham, porkchops, and various types of shellfish.
Today I was asked to make a chicken primavera thingy for dinner. I was able to get a client to do it instead. Woo!
