A mixed blessing is when...
... you qualify for unemployment. It's not much, but it'll help me while I look for work. It'll also help pay for licensing exams, since our dear governor *doubled* all state licensing fees. Don't blame me, I voted for one of the "third" parties.
In other news, I seem to be responding well to antibiotics. I haven't had a fever for around 36 hours. My throat, while sore, is no longer at "dear God kill me now" strength. On the other hand, I get to experience all the joys my body goes through when I take penicilin. So far, my friendly intestinal flora are alright, but my sweat definitely smells like my meds, which is icky.
Said a tough good-bye today, but it's temporary. I'll manage. *pout*
