The other day, I found a 160GB HP DLTape data cartridge that is simply labeled "Monday."

Does anyone local to me have the means to read this sort of cartridge? If the info on it is important, it should probably be returned to someone.

we had some sorta the same at my work..turns out it was just quick book accounting files...

we had to buy a drive off ebay since they dont make em anymore...

I'm guessing it's a daily backup designed to be stored off site, in case of a catastrophe at work (where ever that may be). As such the tape may only be needed if a restore is required. At my previous job we used such a system. Years ago, it was my responsibility to change the tapes :)

Does it look something like this?

You need a tape drive to read the tape, and then you might need the backup program that created the backup file(s), since the file(s) might be in a proprietary format.
