Ah, comics.

Warren Ellis writes a comic for Marvel entitled Nextwave. It's surprisngly funny and tongue in cheek, and stars what I can only describe as C-list heroes, most of which are from old Avengers or X-books, only one seems to be made up new for the series.

The kicker? Marvel comissioned a theme song.

Even better? The band's name is Thunder Thighs.
