In class today, we were discussing a policy talk that we all attended. There were seven main points covered during the talk. The following dialogue ensued:

S: So, the six points they discussed were...
B: Seven points.
S: Right, okay, so the seven points were...
Me: Our seven! seven weapons are surprise, fear, a fanatical devotion to the Department of Social Services, flashy government badges...

and they all started looking at me like I was out of my mind.

Funny, when I first read the quote I substituted "Department of Homeland Security" in my head. Do case workers even get flashy badges? I would think they'd need no stinkin' badges.
