Sadly, I can tell exactly when the amoxicillin metabolites leave my children's bodies, since I can smell them -- very strongly -- in their diapers. The odor appears soon after the second dose (about 10 h after the first), and takes about a day and a half after the last dose to disappear.
Do cillins really make you smell odd? I can't take penicillin or any of its neighbors because I'm allergic. I get Cephalexin, which tastes like rotten grapefruits and makes me burp a lot.
